I had no idea what to expect before ordering this. I had several formulas for perfumes that required it, and my studies indicated it would be somewhat similar to violet leaf absolute. Well, it’s really nothing like violet leaf absolute; it’s a green, bright, crisp magnolia flower! All I can say is to imagine magnolia flower with a green kick, and that’s what this is. I’ve not only used it in the recipes I previously had, I have experimented with it, using it in place of violet leaf and even galbanum, with great success! The quality of this is obviously outstanding. I highly recommend you treat yourself to this. If you love magnolia oil, you’ll love the green version of it!
