Description: Actually a Melaleuca species rather than a Myrtus (although both belong to the Myrtle family), Honey Myrtle is particularly known for its anti-fungal and anti-microbial effects. These occur as a result of its high citral content so if using on the skin dilute this oil well and avoid contact with mucous membranes. Supportive for the respiratory and immune systems. Emotionally uplifting and energising with a comforting honey sweetness.
