Lavandin is a hybrid cross of true lavender and spike lavender. The aroma is similar to Lavender but less floral and more herbaceous. Cultivated by cuttings, much more lavandin is in production than true lavender because it is easier to grow and produces a high yield of essential oil.

It is a useful oil which has many of the properties of true lavender at a fraction of the price. For psychological and spiritual uses True Lavender would always be the first choice but for a diffuser blend or minor first aid situation (cuts, scrapes and bites etc) Lavandin is ideal.

Higher in camphor than the other types, Lavandin Abrial has a fresher, more herbaceous aroma. Pungent and stimulating and perhaps a little more masculine than the sweeter types.

General Information: Keep away from heat and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Love Lavandin! It’s a fresh scent, I am using it after before and after my exercise. I do exercise at HOTWORX, where you workout in a small sauna with infrared light ant temperature goes from 97 to 130 F. It is a way to have a fresh scent for me and for the next person coming. I am Brazilian-American and I follow Yan Oberleander, Oshadhi Brazil, and he explained that Lavandin is híbrid from Lavandula Angustifolia and Lavandula Latifolia. It has camphor in its composition and helps with breathing, and because there’s less linalool and linalil acetate it does not have the sleeping relaxing effect.
