Description: Cape Camomile contains significant amounts of azulene, a known anti-inflammatory agent. However the amount of this – and the resulting colour – varies with the proportion of the flowers used by the distiller, which in turn depends on the harvest. The more flowers, the paler the colour, but it still has strong anti-inflammatory properties. The aroma is incredibly and beautifully sweet, with a hint of boiled sweets. It is very good for skin care, for stress, and will settle you down if you are over-stimulated. High in monoterpenes and esters. This oil will vary a lot from batch to batch depending on climate and soil conditions, etc, and the colour will vary from greenish to blueish depending on the proportion of flowers in the distillation.
