Description:Β Cape Camomile contains significant amounts of azulene, a known anti-inflammatory agent. However, the amount of thisΒ azulene β and the resulting blueish color β varies with the proportion of the flowers used by the distiller, which in turn depends on the harvest. The more flowers, the paler the color, but it still has strong anti-inflammatory properties.Β This oil will vary considerably from batch to batch depending on climate and soil conditions and the color will vary from greenish to blueish depending on the proportion of flowers in the distillation.
The aroma is incredibly and beautifully sweet, with a hint of boiled sweets. It is very good for skin care, for stress, andΒ is calming if one is over-stimulated. High in monoterpenes and esters.Β
General Information: Keep away from heat and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
