Helichrysum gymnocephalum is a wild distilled essential oil from Madagascar, produced from the blossoms and leaves of the plant.

Aromatically, it is markedly different from Helichrysum italicum — more camphoraceous, more medicinal, and far more lifted in character.

Rich in 1,8-cineol, paracymene, alpha- and beta-pinene, and terpinen-4-ol, it belongs to a rarer, more practitioner-led study of Helichrysum.
