Description:

Golden Rod has a warm, sunny, fresh, gentle aroma with a subtle hint of sweet tobacco which is very pleasant.

The theme is obviously one of the monoterpenes. It is said to have a gentle detoxifying and diuretic effect which has benefits in supporting the urinary tract and skin, but the oil appears to be relatively undiscovered, so please contribute your experience to the knowledge base if you can.

It is described as remarkably energetic … carrying the intense vibrations of heat and sun. The oil indeed seems to open the solar plexus.
