About the Plant
Shea butter is derived from the fruits of the shea tree. The shea tree, primarily found in the Sudan region of Africa, such as Uganda, is also known as the butter tree. For centuries, shea butter has been used by indigenous peoples to protect themselves from the elements. Shea butter contains, among other things, vitamin E, beta-carotene, omega-3 fatty acids, allantoin, oleic acids, and other valuable components.
Use: Shea butter is a true miracle worker in skincare. It soothes skin problems and nurtures particularly sensitive skin. It moisturizes and softens dry skin while firming mature skin. It forms a protective barrier against wind and weather - gentle care for all age groups, especially for children and babies, whether in body, face, or intimate care. It also finds its use in hair care against dryness, split ends, and dandruff.
Skincare: Apply some shea butter (depending on the area of your body) to your hands and gently massage the butter into your skin.
Haircare: Rub the shea butter in your hands, then gently massage the oil into the scalp and subsequently into the hair.
General Information: Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
